Before talking about the winning mix, let me first say a huge thank you to all of the DJs who submitted mixes for this contest. Thanks to their hard work and love of this music, we’ve all been able to experience a very healthy dose of mid- to late-nineties Goa trance assembled together in some wicked mixes. Entry #14: DJ Draeke – Mentalism
The fourteenth – and final – entry into the Hunab-ku Magik Mix Contest is a mix by DAT Records label owner, Draeke. The caboose on this Crazy Train is a mix packed with some wicked old-school Goa, most of which is from very rare pieces of vinyl. Read more

OK, kids – this one will put hair on your chest. Yes, even you girls. Coming straight from a carnival on the funny farm, Djuna’s put together what starts out as one of the most twisted sets of old-school psytrance I think I’ve had the pleasure of being assaulted with, and somehow turns it around by the end of the mix so you’re basking in the beauteous glow of melodic morning Goa.
