The Goat Ranch Returns…

It’s been quiet, but the Goat Ranch is still alive and will soon be kickin’, and we’re celebrating our 3rd birthday this month. Woohoo!

The GR studio has been in stasis (boxes, actually) for a few months, but will soon be coming back online to bring you fresh old-school Goa trance mixes from the Goat Ranch DJs, guest DJs, and also some special events we’re gestating in the Goat Womb.

We’ll be starting off with a flurry of backlogged mixes that have been on my hard-drive for a few months now but have just not been posted. Instead of one mix per month I’m thinking one-per-week or so.

You may have noticed that there’s a new poll on the sidebar on the right – please take a moment to cast your vote or write-in request. The Soundcloud and Live365 options will require money (which is in short supply at the Goat Ranch) so if either of those win, I’ll probably be posting a Paypal link and asking y’all for donations…just a warning. 😛

Mind Rewind was a huge success and the Goat Ranch was happy to have been a part of it. We sold out of all of the copies of the compilation amazingly quickly, and were able to donate over £4,000 to Children Walking Tall; you can read all about it in their October 2011 newsletter (under the Fundraising section).

And finally, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOAT RANCH! Thanks to everyone for visiting and contributing to the Ranch over the last three years! The first post was on December 13, 2008…time flies when you’re havin’ fun, eh? 🙂
